Project Details

  • Authored the full architecture design package and guided it through the client's formal Architecture Review Board, satisfying security, risk, and infrastructure reviewers at a financial institution with strict governance.
  • Completed due diligence and vendor risk reviews for the chosen commerce and content platforms, and right-sized licensing so the client paid for what it would actually use.
  • Designed the one piece of infrastructure the client owns directly, a public lookup service on AWS, with security, monitoring, and audit logging built to the client's own hardening standards.
  • Set the engineering standards for the build, including type-safe API integration, caching, and automated deployments, so the team could ship consistently from the first sprint.
  • Defined how content and configuration move between test and production environments, proved out the patterns the build depends on, and stood up search infrastructure ahead of the teams that need it.
  • Maintained a technical risk register so leadership could see what could go wrong and what was being done about it, and presented AI opportunities for content and commerce workflows.
  • Supported the client's development team through build kickoff with onboarding, sprint grooming, and architecture refinement, keeping delivery moving while the design was still settling.
